Over the past two decades, my career has focused on nonprofit organizational management, largely within the financial counseling, coaching, and education industry. My passion is to build thriving team cultures, with an emphasis on equity and inclusion, to generate both purpose and profit for lasting impact and positive change.
In my tenure as executive director for a national nonprofit association, we drastically increased revenue and assets, and attained national awareness and recognition, with a focus on partnership development and culture and process improvement.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading thought-provoking books, traveling and experiencing different cultures, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my family.
I hold a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Family Financial Planning. Additionally, I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Rebecca is the epitome of excellence in strategic group facilitation — smart, energetic, intuitive, flexible and focused on the objective. As one example, she facilitated our quarterly leadership team meeting — enabling our team to celebrate the successes of the previous quarter, refine our long-term plan and set strategic goals for the upcoming quarter. She navigated complex conversations with ease.
Rebecca possesses many great leadership qualities – all which have transpired to the growth of the organization. She successfully led the transition from deficit to surplus spending in a short period and added mission-centric programs all while adding to the top line. The support of her employees, communication and emphasis on a collaborative culture led to the success of the organization.
Rebecca is a strategic, visionary leader and coach. She led us through a major organizational transition with empathy and focus. She is authentic and her personality is reassuring and trustworthy. Rebecca truly loves working with teams, her passion for helping others achieve their goals is infectious. She always wants the best for the team and organizations. She always asks the right questions to generate thoughtful and productive meetings. I highly recommend Rebecca -- she is truly a game-changer for any organization.
Working with Rebecca and Row Together has been an amazing experience for our team and myself! She has been insightful, organized, caring, and engaged every step of the way. Working with someone outside of our organization has been especially helpful. Rebecca has kept us focused and on-task to move toward our final goals of an updated and clear org chart, and implementing an organizational management system. As a result of Rebecca’s previous experience running her own non-profit organization, she has a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to the work. She uses real life experience and examples to help process challenges and consider a different way of viewing the work and organizational structure. She is wonderful to work with and feels like a “part of the team” while maintaining objectivity and clarity in her role.
Working with Rebecca was easy and enjoyable. Throughout the project, she remained a thought partner, working closely with us to help structure activities and interactions that would help her reach her organizational goals. She was able to do this because she has done the work to be a DEI advocate in her own right. Rebecca is engaged, open to suggestions and willing to contribute time and energy to the success of the project.
